Often I feel activism for climate protection is driven purely by the hope to preserve Earth for us humans, even though it is a home to thousands of unique animals. Currently we live in a world of over sixteen thousand endangered animal species. This number is rapidly increasing as the climate continues to change. Global warming and overall mistreating our environment puts many animals at risk of either becoming endangered or going extinct. The goal of my artwork was to depict an ever growing list of animal species that climate change is harming. Using graphite, pen and watercolors, I created a short list of a variety of soon to be and recently endangered animal species.
