Deforestation represents the innocent animals lives and habitats that are lost. I decided to add a angry face onto the tree stump, because Humans have a hard time sympathizing to things that can't physically show emotion .I started crafted this piece by sculpting and carving clay then adding additional texture with pine cones,nuts, and seeds. I finished it with many dark colors to keep a sense of dullness and sadness. My goal with this piece is to show the atrocities of deforestation and commercial logging. While also improving my abilities as an artist.
